Welcome to Redwall Abbey!
Staff
The sun gives way to the dark and menacing storm clouds. You look up wearily, hoping to find somewhere to stay to avoid the upcoming storm. All around you are trees of all kind. You can identify a few of them, though in these conditions, you do not have the heart to.
Taking a random guess, you choose to go to your right, where there seems to be less bracken. Out of the distance, you suddenly hear pawsteps. Curious and suspicious, you stop and listen intently. Whoever it is is heading your way. Not knowing if you should be cautious or not, you decide to hide behind a tree.
The creature comes into view. It is only a friendly-looking hedgehog. Satisfied, you step out, though still cautiously. The hedgehog seems surprised to see you, though he finally smiles and extends his paw.
"Hello there, I am a creature from Redwall." You quiver with excitement. You have heard of many tales telling of the famous Abbey, and would do much to go there right now.
The hedgehog's smile widens, as if he can read what you're thinking. "You may if you want stay for the night, there's a terrible storm to be expected tonight. Come with me." He leads you across a bend, and you gasp in awe as the magnificent Abbey looms over you. The hedgehog smiles again.
"Welcome to Redwall Abbey, mate."

Not getting at first the signals that Thor was calling, Aigryus glanced at the shrews up ahead. They were paddling as fast as they could, and so that was what Aigryus did too. He could hardly see with the water making his fur covering his eyes, but he knew that he could always listen to Thor's instructions to everybody in the boats.

The and of the rapids was getting near and the boats whee zipping along at an alomst-alarminly fast rate. Thor looked back at the other boats. They seemed to be doing fine. He called out a few last instructions and then they flew out of the rapids and into calmer water. The current was still fairly fast so Thor ordered everybeast to ship oars knowing they where proabably slightly fatigued from the fast race down the rapids.

Aigryus took his oar out of the water, exilarated after fighting the currents. He scanned around, and suddenly spotted the bushes nearby moving when there was no wind. A moment later, a rat dressed in rags came into sight, but quickly hid himself. Aigryus drew his bow and notched an arrow, "Ahoy mates, beware the vermin!"

Suddenly a sleek, scarred head popped up in the water beside Aigryus. It was Leathun Streambattle, the fierce otter. Leath spoke in a low voice, "Ahoy, mates, looks like yer got some trouble o'er on yonder bank."

Aigryus glanced rapidly at the otter, "Good day, Leathun. Yes, we have spotted the vermin, but is there any other trouble on its way?"

"Aye, mates, that'n's just a lookout, I reckons. I'll take 'im out, ne'er fear, he won't 'ave chance to signal." Before anyone had a chance to protest, Leath slipped into the water, swam the the bank and popped up, swinging his loaded sling between the rat's eyes. The rat dropped like a rock, and Leath brought him back to the logboat and tossed the rat's limp form aboard. "Tie 'im up quick matey, gag 'im too. 'e's coming 'round quick."

Log a log Thor nodded his thanks to Leath and bound the rat swiftly with some twine. He stuffed a gag in his moth not wanting him to cry out and alert his friends.

**Aigryus watched Leath, and as the otter returned, he smiled and waved. As he turned around to look for Log a log, he spotted the wildcat. Thinking that he had seen her before, he watched what was about to happen next.**

Upon hearing an unfamiliar voice at his ear Thor drew his rapier part way out of its sheath. "Rescuer? Maybe I rember maybe I don't. What's it to you?" Thor twisted slowly in his seat trying to get a good look at his... new visitor.

Aigryus could hardly stifle a laugh, though he knew perfectly well there wasn't anything funny about this, "Ahoy, mates, maybe we should draw our attention to... them?" A group of vermin had started towards the river, their weapons drawn. Their numbers seemed quite great.
